Merry Christmas from the Empathic Movement

To all citizens of the world and to the world itself I wish a peaceful Christmas and a happy 2026

In this for many people holy day I would like to remind you that one of the fundamental principles of Empathism is to grasp the “truth” of existence starting from individual feelings, which must always be nurtured and respected.

Empathism grasps the “greatest possible truth” because it recognizes that absolute truth is elusive, but it approaches it by uniting the subjective fragments of truth obtained through emotional experience, mutual listening, and the union of all philosophies and arts of the present and past, viewed from one’s own point of view, thus creating a richer and less narcissistic understanding than limited perspectives.

This process allows us to construct a more complete “subjective truth,” integrating different perspectives for a deeper vision (also for this reason our approach is interdisciplinary). Empathism seeks to unite emotions, intelligence, and creativity, viewing art and philosophy as paths to explore truth, not as repositories of absolute certainties. Finally, the artist himself tends towards a “Totality” by uniting and drawing on the talent of others, making it his own through admiration. 

The invitation to the peoples of the world is therefore to follow the example of artists (who have always guided society) and do the same: unite themselves in the name of love, through empathy!
