
The Empathic Movement emerged as a reaction against Pandemic, although we were already going in that direction with the “New Manifesto on the Arts”.
To individualism was added the anguish of the deepest solitude, between fear of the virus and oppressive lockdowns.
One morning, lost in a mirror, I said out loud: “Today Empathism is born”.
The Pandemic therefore exacerbated something that was already in the air. The need for change became evident. Furthermore, a decisive role was played by my individual feeling that sought the other in order to complete myself as an artist and perhaps also as a man.
The others completed me, they put back together the pieces of Unus (the Total Artist dismembered by the brothers determining the ancient separation of the Arts) and last but not least they suggested to the peoples to unite in a single feeling: Love, which is the sea of feelings, contains them all…
