Among the members (Empathic Masters) of the Literary/Artistic movement named Empathism, there are many important figures coming all over the world.
Today I want to remember and greet the two American poets Genny Lim and Maria Mazziotti Gillan.
The first, Lim, was born in 1946 in San Francisco (California) and is the first Chinese-American in the role of “poet laureate” in the same city.
No less important is MazziottiGillan (born in 1940 in Paterson, New Jersey), an Italian-American who, in addition to having been a university professor for many years, is the founder of the founded Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College.
I am pleased that the Empathic Movement includes these two extraordinary American poets among its ranks.
